Snape(Snake + Tape) Mastering Tape Saturator adds the final analog tape polish to your mix. Use this tape saturation plugin to instantly add depth, warmth and character!
Snape Mastering Tape Saturator features 2 main knobs: "Input" for input volume, and "Gain" for the amount of saturation added. To adjust the character, "Texture" knob changes the analog clipping algorithm while "Color" knob allows you to choose the type of Tape Machine emulation.
Colors:
- "N": Neutral, minimal color added.
- "R": Radiant, high speed tape emulation, the most colored.
- "S": Soft, medium speed tape emulation, analog warmth.
- "O": Old, low speed tape emulation, the warmest setting.
As a mastering saturator, it features an oversampling knob "Oversample" to up to 16x, so you can get the least amount of aliasing if your CPU allows.
Finally, "Mix" knob blends the dry and wet signal, while "Output" simply adjusts the output volume.
